Cookies and local storage
This document is available in English only.

Scope: app.kea.page, where you register, sign in, subscribe and build your page. The pages you publish are covered by the visitor page.
The short version
Before you sign in, nothing is stored on your device except your choice of appearance. Signing in sets two cookies, and they exist only to keep you signed in and to keep the forms safe. We show no cookie banner, because there is nothing to ask you to consent to.
What is stored on your device
| What | Where | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
kt-theme |
local storage | remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance | until you clear it |
kea_session |
cookie | keeps you signed in, so you do not have to sign in on every page | 24 hours |
kea_csrf |
cookie | protects the forms you submit against being triggered from another site | until you close your browser |
kea_mfa_pending |
cookie | exists only while you complete two-factor sign-in | until that sign-in finishes |
kea_session and kea_mfa_pending cannot be read by scripts running in the page. That is
deliberate: it is what stops another site, or a script injected into a page, from stealing your
session.
That is the complete list. No tracking cookies, no advertising identifiers, no analytics on this application, and no third-party company stores anything on your device through us.
Why there is no cookie banner
European law requires your consent before storing or reading information on your device, unless what is stored is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. A cookie that keeps you signed in after you chose to sign in, and one that protects your own form submissions, are the textbook examples of strictly necessary. The appearance setting is a preference you set yourself. Neither requires consent, and neither is used to identify you or to follow you anywhere.
Signing in with Google or Microsoft
If you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft, you are sent to that company's own sign-in page, where their own cookies and their own privacy policy apply. We do not embed their software in our pages, and they set nothing on your device through us. What they tell us about you is described in the Privacy Policy.
Forms
The sign-in, registration and password-reset forms are protected against automated abuse by our own checks. These set no cookies and store nothing on your device. What they process, and for how long, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
If we ever start setting cookies beyond those above, this page will say so before we do, and — where the law requires it — we will ask for your consent first.
